Yomi Takeda faced a setback as a pitcher during her junior high years due to her catcher’s lack of skill. Sadly, this obstacle prevented her from executing her go-to move, the “Magic Throw,” and led to her abandoning the sport. However, fate brought Yomi and Tamaki Yamazaki back together at Shin-Koshigaya High School. Tamaki, Yomi’s childhood friend, possessed the skillset necessary to catch Yomi’s infamous “Magic Throw.” Their strong common interest in baseball reignited their friendship, and they set out on a journey to fulfill the promise they made as children. This is the story of two young women who share a deep passion for the game of baseball.
