For as long as he can remember, Chuuta Kokonose, a 14-year-old boy, has been tormented by an elusive voice in his head, causing his peers to ridicule him for talking to himself. One day, an otherworldly creature, resembling a jellyfish with three eyes, pays him a visit, and he is transported to a galactic police station where he meets a diverse cast of inhabitants. The bureau’s chief, Laine Brick, sees great potential in Chuuta and invites him to join their agency, ēlDLIVE.
Chuuta’s crush, Misuzu Sonokata, already a member of ēlDLIVE, opposes his joining, citing his lack of qualifications. Nevertheless, encouraged by the mysterious voice, Chuuta takes the qualifying exam, only to discover that the voice is actually an extraterrestrial coexisting within him all along.
Together with Misuzu and their fellow agents, Chuuta dedicates himself to maintaining order and protecting the various worlds under the agency’s jurisdiction.
