Annie has it tough in high school, especially when she runs afoul of the school’s most popular clique. The group, led by Ashton Griffin, singles out Annie and she becomes the target of their bullying. Determined to keep the peace, Annie must placate Ashton and stay in his good graces to avoid a social disaster. As she tries to navigate the complex world of teenage social hierarchies, Annie also deals with returning crushes, a hot neighbor who never wears a shirt, and the realization that being popular isn’t always what it seems. All Annie wants is a normal life, but it may be impossible to avoid the wrath of these king bees.
