Professor Elm never expected to be chosen by a Pokémon when he asked Gold to pick from three recently discovered creatures! To become the Pokémon Champion, Gold must defeat the Gym Leaders and obtain their badges. Meanwhile, Team Rocket makes a comeback and begins scheming once again. As if that weren’t enough, a mysterious figure dressed in black adds to the intrigue.
