Shin Megami Tensei – Devil Children

Setsuna Kai, a first-year student, made a vow to become stronger after his mother passed away. Despite his continuous training at his elementary school kendo club, he still couldn’t defeat his friend and rival, Mirai Kaname. However, one day as they walked home from practice, Tokyo was covered in a black haze, causing the temperature to drop and covering the city with crystal snow in the middle of summer.
When Setsuna arrives at his dark apartment, a child suddenly flies through the walls and hands him a wrapped box before dying in his arms. As Setsuna mourns the loss of the child, a demon appears, intent on taking Setsuna’s life. In a moment of desperation, Setsuna summons a demon of his own, awakening a power deep within him.
Cool, the Cerberus demon, reveals that Setsuna is one of the eight Devil Children who must save the world from destruction. Though hesitant to take on such a crucial responsibility, Setsuna’s determination to surpass Mirai pushes him to accept the position. Setsuna and Mirai, who is also one of the fated Devil Children, embark on a journey to the Demon World to find the other six and fulfill their mission.
